restarting

can anyone tell me why. if i stall the car when it as just been started it is a pian to start again. it is like there is no petrol

this has been a problem with fuel injected cars for the last 10 years. i have heard of it on many makes/models of car. think it is down to the ecu overfuelling what it sees as a "cold" engine when in fact the engine has run for 10 secs or so. this then floods the engine and then the starting problems occur.

or vapour locks in the injectors caused by a warm engine...
