Right heres the story, driving through town with a very very nice lady in my uk300, all done up with the badges, and the rally stripes etc etc.

This homeless guy jumps out of nowhere in the middle of the road!

so me thinking do I stop or run the Fu:ker over, not knowing if he wants to jack my car!

So my lady passenger starts screaming so I stop!

Down goes half of the tinted window, this guy turn around to me and says listen mate I know you have spent a few bob on your car and I can tell you it will nicked by Thursday!!!!

So theres me sitting in my pride and joy thinking is this bullahi@ting or what!

I know i have top security system and tracker but i know that these theives a are damn good these!

Can anybody offer any insight to this or anything i can do to prevent this happenin!

how did u no he was homeless?

obviously by the way he was dressed i presume.

if this is the case do u think he is really up to nicking ur motor?

do u think he will get far if he managed to by pass security? dressed like he was the police will find that a bit strange dont u think?

try parking the car in a more secure area, i.e. garage ( you might already do this ) then baracade it in?????? build a castle around it and employ 24 hr night watchmen?

no seriously though i'd just be careful. try to make sure the car is a bit more secure in whatever way you can. theives are the the scum of the earth.

i am thinking of installing one of those pull out lockable pillars in my driveway like you find on car parks etc.

ive got CCTV looking down on my car ever sinse my mother pushed me out the garage and put her civic R in there. it does make you sleep a bit better knowing its been watched. its not that expensive either. you can get a good black and white motion active camera for well under £100 and there really small and easy to fit.

Go down to a Auto electrician or if u can do it yourself take back seat out, Cut in power supply for Fuel pump and run a cable to a swith u can hide some where to switch pump on and off. When u park it up no matter where, just stop engine and flick switch . If they get in it and push it off drive when they go to start it it will start for about 2 seconds. Hardly going to call AA to start it are they. Use big cable (amp wise ) and decent sized switch (amp wise). If you want any more dteails mate e mail me.

agrred - the fuel pump cut is the best way of foxing thieves. i had one fitted in my pug 205, although it was to save expense on the 140 quid fuel pump relay that had gone wrong!

simple but effective.
