...involved in the little project we're running over at http://scooby.burratha.com.

The success and feedback has been most favourable. Hopefully, we can have the site we all want and deserve.

Thanks for making it a success (so far)

I'm now off to bed, and need to speak to my webhost for more bandwidth!!!!

I was about to comment on your bandwidth

Well done, it's a great idea, and so far you've pulled it off well.

On there and it is a nice place to be very calm (I was even allowed to call myself Banzai Bob again, so it must be good)

Good content.
Colours are hard to read easily - red on balck isn't great and when your cursor is over a link it goes dark grey which is almost invisible against the black backgroung.

erm... the red is only for the icons. The text is orange. Is your gamma a bit on the low side?

Question

Not being nasty, cos I can imagine you've sunk a lot of time and resources into the site.

But why do we need an "Alternative" Subaru site? Whats wrong with having the majority of people on one site? If you fragment the community, thenm its not in anyones interests.

Just my thoughts.

Richard

The wording is very "rough" - I've made no excuses that the name will change.

I also have openly stated that I would like this to run as a supplement to Scoobynet, and daren't even think about coming close to compete against it.

Let's face it - who wants 20,000 members

Expect the name to change. All we need to do is think of one

Carl tis fine for me.

rr_ww - because its more focused towards certain subjects which tend to get lost in scoobynet purely due to the number of people who post on here.

"'Ello, 'ello, 'ello, what's all this, then?" (Sorry, it had to be done )

Great initiative Don't like the dark colours much - a bit gloomy, like the inside of a prison cell, I imagine I'd also like closer links to ScoobyNet.

Top work guys and great police PR.

Best of luck,

Richard.

PS Edited to ad that the back-button doesn't work. Not for me, anyway.

Thanks for the input....like BuRR says its very much a work in progress so the name etc is up for change....suggestions welcome cos we are struggling!

The site seems to view well for most people and it's not intended to be a subaru only forum......although it has arisen through the support of the scoobynet members.....

With time and your help we hope to turn it into a resource for all people interested in performance cars and driving whatever they drive......
