Question

noticed you have one on order. Is it the same price? Don't you have to add VAT to one you import yourself?

Yes, you add VAT to imports. Even after that, they are substantially cheaper.

Eldar, so if this price is the total (inc. VAT) that's got to be a good deal, surely?

Ajax,

Impreza WRX STi Type EURO £23,395 **
Impreza WRX 4DR Type EURO £16,395 *

So it appears that is car would be *not* be an STi then?! What do you get for the extra 5k?

Yes, I realise that, but if the 02 it the total and the 03 is + VAT then that kinda tips the scales, yes?

Not a bad price, but you could get an 03 model for about the same or a little less. Trouble is, there is normally a 6 month wait for delivery.

Or look at a 2 year contract hire, and order an import 6 months before the end of the lease. Expect to pay around £275 a month for a lease...

Yea, but you would *still* have to add the VAT. If this price includes it (and I think it does). Then it's actually 17.5% cheaper which is what I would expect for 'end of line stock'.

That's not so bad I guess. Would give me time to sell my current Scoob too. (unless I can talk these other guys down to a sensible price - worth a try)

Personally I quite like the bug eye shape. Not sure about the 03 yet.
