when cold car has started to drop to 500rpm and stalled once when accel lift off and clutch depressed.only does it when engine cold and once warm is fine..dont think it is maf or it wld do it all the time..what else controls the idle/revs on scoobs.dealer was vague even about what sensors control this is there an idle control valve on scoobs??
If you have a Clifford Concept 600 then its the third point wirelss immobiliser which never deactivates. It does that to me as well on the odd occasion. Otherwise it may be your fuel pump.
car has standard dump valve..what are the 2 sensors on the inlet manifold is one of these a temp sensor..no check engine light at all so sensor hasnt failed..
just because there is no CEL does not mean that the sensor is not working correctly. IIRC the maf degrades slowly sometimes and therefore does not develop a cel light.
Start the car and then unplug the maf, if it runs the same as it does when its plugged in (ie rough) then its the maf. If it stalls or runs worse, then its not the maf.
