Trade in my my98 turbo for a my2001 or 2002 WRX.......


Just want something that is a little newer and a little tidier (inside)....

 

no never get a newer my00 in my opinion

As mentioned above, take a test drive, what have you got to lose? Apart from pissing off a dealer if you don't like it

Lots of people have made the switch, me included, I opted for a MY01 with PPP and Prodrive Headlights.

Didn't try a non PPP car so not sure just how much better the PPP makes it, but I dont regret swapping over. Little bit worried about the MY03 being better, faster, etc, but that's life, new models are always being made.

It would be a good time to make the switch. Or it might be even better to wait for the MY03 to come out, which could push the 01/02 prices down a bit more. I agree you should give an MY01/02 a good shakedown to see what you prefer first.

 

Personally I would wait 2 weeks to see what the MY03 is going to look like.
