Tyres wearing on the inside

With a normal geometry setup, the tyres shouldn't wear faster on the inside tread. The cause of this would normally be excess toe-out. Previous experience of this, and previous work done by dealers/specialist tyre companies resulted in my insisting on a parallel setup to cure the uneven wear. I have been told the the toe-in/out tolerance on a Subaru is up to 3 degrees (i.e. 1.5 degrees each side of parallel) and that, as long as your setup is within the tolerance, you shouldn't complain.
I don't know what the full geometry setup will have done for your toe-out, but it could be that they've deliberately set the wheels out to improve the turn-in. The excess wear may be the cost of better handling or more direct steering.
Expensive business if you don't get it sorted soon, though ....

FWD and AWD cars normally have a touch of toe out on the front because the front wheels pull in under power.
Another reason for wear on the inside is too much negative camber. Has this been altered in the suspension/geometry changes??

I had major inside wear on my last set - to the point that they were bald after 20k - however, I think it must have been my driving, because the set up was checked and was correct!
