First of all, an apology for plagurism. On one of the 'some git hit my car opening their door' threads, someone posted the following advice.

I thought it would make a good 'Attention!' or 'Warning!' style sticker for car-parking (perhaps similar in style, & location, to the 'allow engine to idle etc' sticker that used to be on Imprezas). Salsa said he could make some up if there was some interest. What do you think?

ATTENTION! IMPORTANT ADVICE FOR PARKING

Avoid supermarkets at almost all costs. Never park next to a car with a baby seat in it. Never park next to cars bearing evidence of child passengers as parents allow kids to open and close doors themselves. Avoid parking next to cars with the driver's seat close to the wheel as the door needs to be opened further to get in and out. Avoid parking next to old and/or poorly looked after cars as the owners don't give a s*** and probably feel the same way about others' property as well.

Just copied it, pasted it in Word and will print it on a little card to keep in the car

 

Naa Just park at 45 degrees across two spaces.
A sticker in foot high letters in the rear window should then read;

WHEN YOU LEARN TO OPEN YOUR DOOR
I WILL LEARN TO PARK

 

One for the inside of the window would be good, along the lines of :

Warning I have taken the reg no of your vehicle just in case you decide to bump my door

 

How about a sticker saying:

"Warning: This car's door panels are paper-thin and dent if you so much as breathe on them"

Thank you for parking so fu**in close to my drivers door. Next time i will remember to bring my fu**in tin openener with me.

Or.
I am a **** who has no insurance cover, please trash my car!. - for those people block you in when they park anywhere rather than travel further down the car park. All I can say is their car must have the turning circle of a dinky toy, the amount of room they leave sometimes.

For extra effect have them printed on that super sticky paper that is almost impossible to take off. Often used on people that park illegally.

 

I just leave the back window open and the big red psycho dog inside.
Sign says - Dent my car and the dog slobbers all over you.
