Thinking of uprating my turbo along with other bits, just wanted to know what people recommend.

I think I have the standard TD04 thingy. I have heard of a few being TD05, VF23 and some from Apexi but don't know which one to go for. I am looking for large power increases 300bhp+

I have everything else uprated so an FMIC and turbo are next.

He is the man when it comes to Turbo's... he will listen to what you want and give you good advice on what way to achieve it...

You will need an uprated fuel pump too!

I've tried a vf24 and now a 23 on my linked, fmic'ed euro turbo, and both of them are *very* nice indeed, with the ability to give 320+ hp...if you don't need more choose one of those

The 24 is great fun for the twisty bits, but it doesn't move as much air as the big hp turbos out there on top. The 23 has a larger exhaust side for less backpreassure, and it seems to be willing to flow a bit more air...with more advance maybe?

Mark should be able to hel you out (he's great).

What you do need however is a remap to take advantage of the new turbo.

Not sure if any of you have tried Owen Developments for turbos.


They manufacture and design a majority of the turbos for the world rally cars and race series around the globe.

They also supply a number of the more commercial places around the UK with turbos that they sell on.

IMO always better to go to the horses mouth!
