Quick response required on this one....

I'm in the middle of putting in a K&N filter - it comes supplied with two foamy type sticky things (about 5in long) that the destructions call 'gaskets' - I can't for the life of me figure out where these are meant to go.

Anyone any ideas?

Ta

They go down the long sides of the filter to hold it in place

So, basically I need to stick them to the long sides of the airbox and the squeeze the filter in?

Well, the thing just wouldn't fit with those pesky foam things in, so I left them out. Anyone know if this will be a problem?

Ah Ta,

must of missed that bit. That's good news as its surprisingly difficult to change the air filter...don't want to have to go through that again for a while.
