Default Fitting front fogs to a JDM Bugeye

I want to fit front fogs to a JDM Bugeye, I’ve bought the switch, and what I think are the correct lamps and relay. Just want to check a few things because I’ve read a suggestion the JDM’s are maybe different to the UK cars

1) Relay needs to go into the fuse box by the drivers knee, 4th relay slot down (currently empty). I know this is the slot for UK cars but there’s been some suggestion the JDM’s are different and the relay might need to go elsewhere?

2) Relay type is 156700-1020?

3) When swapping my headlights I found the connectors were different, the biblical rain stopped me checking the fog connectors in the bumper earlier, are the connectors into the different production years of fog lamps all the same or different?

I’ve already taken the blank switch out the dash and found the wiring for the switch in place, I’ve also got photos of the harness connectors mounted up out the way behind the bumper (think I’ll need the missus small hands to retrieve them…) so I’m possibly all set to go. Any additional advice on pitfalls when fitting them greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Very nice!

In yours, in the fuse box by the drivers knee, does the fourth relay slot down have a relay in it (as circled below)?

Thanks Don, looks like I’ve got the right relay and location

Just hoping the connectors are the same now, if not I’ll make a link lead up so not the end of the world!

I know there's a connector on the passenger side and found that in second however the drivers side, can I find it...?

If anyone knows where it's been (well) stuffed, I'd appreciate it

Front Fog light connectors F6 and F21 - if not used usuallly taped/tucked up out of the way.

Yeah I’ve found F21 taped up out the way, F6 nowhere to be seen. I didn’t know if there’s a specific place where they’re hidden, next step is to wait for it to stop raining and start disassembling the car which I’d rather not do if u can avoid it
