Hi all,
having a few issues routing the engine loom on my ‘99 WRX -
if I route the wires thru this side of the manifold (right looking from front), I can only reach the pressure sensor and the coil pack, and the wires can’t reach the TPS or ICV.
If I route the wires thru the middle all of the plugs reach but the wires are obviously sandwiched between the manifold and the coolant/fuel lines and preventing the manifold from sitting flat.
Can someone please point me in the right direction as to which way is the correct route?
cheers
Thanks heaps, I managed to get it around the back of the manifold as per the diagram. Now I’m having an issue getting one of the injections plugged in, as the cylinder 4 injector wire seems way too short. Any ideas?
…So I managed to hook it up by running it thru the middle of the 2 manifold runners.
to anyone else that might have this issue, also make sure that where the 2 injector wires are running out of the bottom of the main loom are facing towards the block and aren’t tangled otherwise they won’t reach.
This seems to be the correct way of running the wires, the injector wires and CAS reach without stretching the wires at all -
I tried to run the wires around the back of the manifold as shown in the diagram, but nothing would quite reach. I also found that leaving the manifold loose while getting the wires into place helped a lot as well.
