Finally got my act together and asked Mr Underwood if, now he's getting things sorted, he'd give my car the star treatment I keep reading about on the BB.

I've got to finalise a date, but it's looking like mid-May onwards. The guy's a one-man band, yet seems quite happy to make a long trek for a long day - so I thought I'd post this to see if there's anyone else in this neck of the woods who'd be interested (hope you don't mind, Mark!).

I'm actually in Beverley, but I suppose anyone in the region of East Yorks, North Lincs, North Yorks, West Yorks etc who's interested may make it a more viable option for the long distance Wizard.

I'll post my views on his performance - just hope it's as good as quite a few of you other Scooby-lovers have said!

I haven't confirmed with the Wax Wizard as yet, but I'm hoping he can fit me in on Saturday May 12.

I'll be emailing him later and will say there are others interested in his wares - he might fancy coming up for a few days either side of that weekend...?

I suspect Mark will read this thread and post at some time, but for now I presume it would be best to email him direct so he can start planning.

I haven't had final confirmation, but it's looking 98% certain he'll "do" me on May 12.

Bit of wax, Burgess ice cream, tour of the Minster and a stroll on the Westwood. What could be finer? I hear the old RAF base at nearby Leconfield will let you use the runways for £45...
