So just now, on a 5 or so mile drive, I had a standard (non evo) Lancer, a Polo and an Escort all driving up my ****! Only had the WRX a few weeks and it seems to happening a lot. Is this going to be a normal occurance now that I drive an Impreza?
Ahh, I see. I wasn't moaning. I was just asking as it's never happened in any other car I've had and I've never felt the urge to do it myself.
Now I know.
I have to admit I like winding Impreza and Evo owners up when I'm in my van I can still push it in the corners so I like to have fun and mine is a high top traffic

^^ I properly -ed at this ^^
OP, yes I'm afraid you'll get this a lot. I have to tell myself to resist dropping down a cog....... I don't always listen to myself though

As long as you give it a good go, then can't complain. It's when they just drive up my **** and that's it. Can't see the point.
Down a gear a away it goes.

Its when you hit 90-100mph on the motorway bends and I'm still there wanting to be past
There are 10 people in the car park and they're all looking at their cars.
Added: Statement of fact (10 people in the car park), "they are" all doing something, and that is looking at the cars that belong to them.
a bit more help from you and I will be able to get a job at McDonald's.
I knew in the back of my mind it was wrong but the stupid is stong in me.
I'd just like to throw a different point of view on the table. If I'm driving my Scooby which I think is relatively quick, and I pull up behind a 911 or something, I don't think for one second that I am quicker ... but I would just like to see it **** off into the distance so that I can see just how much quicker it actually is ... I might even see how I'd fare at keeping up but I don't think for one second that my car is better, but I'd like to see the difference
Obviously as the 911 driver, this would **** you off if this happens all the time, but don't think that everyone behind you actually thinks they're quicker
Subarus ARE faster than 911s though, Subarus are the fastest cars in the whole world.

according to every new wrx owner judging by these threads, sadly times have overtaken the impreza now and its just a poorly equipped moderately quick jap **** box owned by chavs for ten minutes until they realise how crap on fuel they are.
Do you remember the first time you drove one? It does, of course, depend on what you step up from, but they are pretty good (albeit as you point out, very thirsty), and it's definitely a nice step up from 80% of the mundane crap on the roads and you can feel "a bit special" for a while. There's a whole other 20% though. And that 20% can be surprising and unexpected
i certainly do and years and years later still love the way they drive, i dont however feel the need to claim every mitsubishi (non evo ) wants to race me and everything from a saxo to a ferrari sits on my bumper as this has never happened to me and id estimate ive done 40k plus in an impreza throughout the years.
I wind all motorists up driving at the most efficient speeds. Truckers hate having to move into the middle lane to overtake Imps.
Unless you drive a lorry, you don't realise what a pain in the **** a car doing 55 ish mph is. Do yourself a favour, pass your hgv and become a better driver!
