I can't take any religous person seriously, I don't understand why people just seem to accept it. How can anyone who is religous be considered sane, seriously?
I'm not trying to get anyone's back up, but it's hard for me to grasp how an adult of clear mind can think about 'God' and all the fairytales surrounding it. I like facts and scientific explanations.
People chastised David Iyke for his beliefs, but to me that's just as ridiculous as other mainstream beliefs that people consider 'normal'.

they got holy police that can arrest you for drinking smoking or eating in public.

I too struggle to understand how normal otherwise sane people can believe all this religious clap trap and have stated so on previous threads.
Imo if you need some book to tell you how to behave you've got bigger problems than any book can solve, the Bible and it's siblings should be in the same section in the library as Fiction or self help books, Along with Snow white and the seven dwarfs, Rumple stilt skin etc.
We are all born into some sort of religion by default, as an adult one should be able to make the choice as to whether or not one chooses to follow it's teachings, of which the basics are not bad, but like everything in this world there are those that seek to distort and use religion to their own ends and the sheep follow as though somehow blinded, yet they too have read the books and deep down inside themselves know that these people a mis-representing yet do nothing.
Are they God fearing or peer fearing.
How is it that one guy stood on a soap box in the local town square is considered a nutter, a crowd gathers and everyone laughs, yet put him in a dress in a fancy building and he becomes a Priest or an Iman and the crowd are his congregation. In my mind they're all bonkers.
Or swaping day for night as I call it.

On the subject matter, why do we even teach religion in schools why is it even tolerated, isn't that why we have churches and mosques?

As per usual Scoobynet takes the extreme and runs with it. Last time I sat in a RE lesson it was all about learning about all different religions and broadening people's horizons. Much like I'd imagine most other schools do but let's not let that get in the way of a rant about a minority group.

I support free speech and the right for our children to be educated without prejudice and certainly without some bullcrap from another brand of gods fan club. I also believe children should be children. No need to be taught about gayness or sex before they are old enough to want!
I also support anyone fighting oppression. Be that Christians being persecuted in Iraq or Muslims fighting invading forces from stealing their natural resources or land.
I also think you are full of bollox. So much so that when you blow your nose semen comes out. Probably.
Anyway in order to answer your question I need to know what defines radical as there is no such definition as far as I'm aware. Tell me in your little world what is and what isn't radical and I'll attempt an answer for you. Can't be much fairer than that.
