Yeah an artic wing mirror doing 30mph above what he was, you cant say for definate he would be dead, but the expert doctors that treated him said he would be. I'll take their word on it over a guessed 'possibly'.

I reckon my lid saved my life when I hit a very hard wall very fast.
I always wear one and have been riding a lot all my life. Currently a Giro Atmos - less like a giant mushroom than most and very light and comfortable.
