hard to argue it's not safer riding with a lid...it's just not as nice. Funny how most of the 'you must wear a lid' crew on here have very little actual experience riding a bike. Busy bodies

I reckon my lid saved my life when I hit a very hard wall very fast.
I always wear one and have been riding a lot all my life. Currently a Giro Atmos - less like a giant mushroom than most and very light and comfortable.
