Which way around are these suppose to go please....I bought a set off ebay, stated 25/30mm drop, fitted short one to the rear, didn't lower much on the standard shock, 10 mm if that, swapped it for the taller spring as we weren't sure which went where? it didn't look right lol gone back to standard now, standard shock issue? bump stop issue? I read some folk cutting this to enable a drop...Any help with this would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

 

Ignore the stated drop measurement chap, these springs don't lower an impreza regardless of shock used. Trust me, been there with these and Excel G shocks. No different to standard ride height but do offer a better ride/drive.

 

Thanks Matty, just out of interest, do the longer ones go on the front or rear please

 

I've not changed the shocks/springs on a Scoob before, but every other car I've done, the shorter ones go on the rear and the longer on the front.

With regards to not appearing to lower much, could it just be that the original springs are old and have sagged, giving the appearance that new lowering springs don't appear much lower?

 

The longer ones are the rears.

 

LOL - best ignore my bad advice then! I'll keep that in mind, 2pot for when I change mine soon! :-)

 

Don't worry, I had 'front' and 'rear' sprayed on the springs, for just this eventuality

 

The drop suggested is from a basic '92-'00 (non-performance version) Impreza which are, on average, 570mm front, 560 rear.

What are your current wheel centre to arch measurements? And the fuel level, when you take the measurements.
