I sold my evo to a foreign buyer, paid a 1k deposit by bank transfer, then a few weeks later he flew over with a friend and brought the rest of the cash with them. Felt dodgy counting the cash in the underground car park at Liverpool airport!

Also done it with an old 8v calibre before I had the scoob years back, sold that on ebay and the buyer was a brit living on an army base in Germany, again flew over and drove it back

 

I think there are more foreign buyers now due to the cars being so cheap over here as compared to their countries due to how rare they are?

 

Also the GBP is toilet paper at the moment, which means that e.g. Scandinavian buyers get a 30% discount over a couple of years ago just from the changes in FX.

 

I'd sell it but be careful
not been funny mate your cars been for sale a while , and I think him offering 8k is a very very good price considering the miles etc etc

if you don't try you will struggle to get 8k other wise
