I think you're saying Apple did something good, but I can't be sure.

I have always said Apple have done good things, I own an Ipod, have owned an Iphone, my Mother has an Imac, my father has an Ipad.

I just dispute they are better than some other manufacturers.

I will likely ditch samsung for my next phone though as much as they are great, I am sick of them killing sdcards with loads of my pics and music on them...

They need to fix this as it has been the same with successive phones now.

Just an update, after a week with the Note I must say its a great bit of kit.
Only just starting to use some of the more interesting features but overall its very very good. The size is not a problem and general browsing etc is very nice on the larger screen. In fact the last couple of nights where I would get my netbook out to browse the web for half an hour I just sat there on my phone.

My N3 has retired my Nexus 7. I am making a mount to use the Nexus 7 as a satnav tethered to my N3 when driving.

Just to follow up on my predicament on choosing a phone, 3 offered me one of their last iPhone 5 models. Brand new for £27/month. 2000mins, 5000texts and unlimited data and tethering. Really couldnt see how the 5s would be worth the jump up to £41 for the same tariff.

It's not, go sim only. There are a lot of mugs out there with 'free' phones.

He probably had to stump up cash for it, AS WELL.
