You can get home flocking kits off of the net which apparently have yeilded some good results. Might look into getting some kit for my workshop if there is a call for it.

air filter kit looks good, have you got the arch liners in?

joint venture on the flocking?

yeah got all the liners in there . . was good fun fitting it as it honestly looked like it wouldn't all fit at one point. ITs a bit strange to see a maffless running a long induction tract but I like the uncluttered look of not having the filter in the bay. Only problem is finding the pipework that has no maff sensor hole in it to replace my old black, gaffer tapped piece.

Well since the last update I have had the rocker gaskets both replaced, taken delivery of my fmic and braided brake and clutch lines. Just looking for a break in the weather to crack on with it all . .

Also started removing the interior as I fancy going stripped out. Hopefully picking up a pair of fixed back bride buckets to complete the look

A little overkill on the ties but oh well . .

once I get thos fitted along with my fmic it will be in for another map (number 3). Spec will be:

Jdm sti 2.0 engine
Vf28 turbo/ standard injectors
Japspeed fmic
Japspeed 2.5 exhaust system
Japspeed wrapped downpipe
Aps induction
Alkatec ecu

Unsure of what power it will make but I reckon about 340bhp @1.4 bar and Maybe around 355 @ 1.5.

My turbo and injectors are going to be pretty much maxed out so those two will need replacing to hit my target 400bhp+, a bigger exhaust will also be on the horizon along with equal length headers

got hold of a sony as15 action cam, mocked up a quick bracket to dash mount it and went out last night for some test footage. Pretty impressed with the low light picture especially as it wasnt in 1080p mode although I think youtube has killed the quality

Well I'm currently working away but since my last update the car has had its mot (no advisories again) and had a few more changes.

I've replaced a lot of the hoses in the bay including the induction pipe, added the dished steering wheel with snap off boss and stuck on a set of equal length headers from rcm. All being well when I'm home this weekend will take a load of pics and In car videos so you can all hear the new sound

As you can see my new dished wheel and snap off boss are on . . Really enjoy driving with this wheel althought the indicators are now close to being out of reach but having had similar setups on a few cars it's something I'm used too.

Also wrapped and fitted my equal length headers and they sound lovely . Also changed a few hoses in the bay but on the whole it still looks crap in there . . Have ordered a new header tank on the group buy and am looking for a new inlet manifold too. Also going to sort my Frankenstein style induction tract out when I get some spare time
