Not really , You would never believe what Big name tuners have done to some on here which have been kept quiet .. So i judge on your work instead on your name.... Francis has this attitude i know and i don't like it either, but that's his problem not mine. It was all good and the map he did in the 1st stage was great and i can't complain. It's just now when things started to be a bit more complicated it all went **** up , but never mind ... I will never jump on the Snet band wagon and start slating... I have my own head and will make my own decisions. It didn't work out so i'm moving on . I have explained my self to him and he knows what i'm on about... Maybe he'll get his **** together and learn from this .

My expectations were bigger then his level of expertise probably so i'm moving to the "best" in business ...

I'm defiantly with you on 'some' big tuners...too many stories I've seen/heard but again it's upto whoever they wish to choose, not my car so no bother there, it's the bandwagon jumpers that have a lot to learn.

I've seen a mate tune Ecutek and just a base map loaded and 1 or 2 tweaks job done on a basic 1st map upgrade, it's when all the other things come into play for big power where you need someone good.

Hope he hasnt fecked your engine? Hope you get it sorted fella

Like I said many months ago and got slated with my mapping rip off thread , no one listened and thought I was spouting for the fun of it , Francis is not the only one out there who's ambitions outweigh his ability and has no shame in charging for what some would say little knowledge , he's not the only one out there
It's all bollocks always has been and always will be
I've said my piece many moons ago ,

So when you say avoid, do you mean certain carberry 'mappers'

Or the actual software?

Carberry is fine when done properly and there are a number of mappers out there who do it with more looking at it as it is quite a powerful tool when it comes to mapping the standard ECU

It's an excellent tool for the stock ecu , and coupled with the fact it was made available free to use ( not commercially ) is amazing

Just a shame some folks are using such free software , and getting out of there depth
And in the process potentially giving things like carberry a bad rep

Carberry is excellent , end of

Yes i know the thread very well . And who are you for me to take as a reference mr ?? Like i said it's not the mapping issue i had it's a combination of things and how it was dealt afterwards... You have to realize he must know his laptop a bit as did the mapping for API ... The map i had in summer time was brilliant . He done a very good job on that , if it would be **** engine would have popped on that Cadwell trackday with 30+ degrees .
