XBox One or PS4?
I have been looking at videos on YT of gameplay, and to be honest, they looked no better than current.
However, I then looked on the YouTube app on my 46" Samsung, and found some gameplay on BF4 and it looks simply stunning, I have to say.

Only just started the single player campaign and the gameplay is smooooth. Biggest thing I noticed graphically is water effects like rain on glass and spray on your windscreen - impressive. Just need to get on PSN so I can try multiplayer out.

Well after having had the PS4 for one day I am quite impressed overall with it, I like the way you can swap in and out of gameplay and pick it up where you left off.
The graphics are undoubtedly a step beyond the PS3, as is the user interface.
So far I have got COD Ghosts, BF4, Assassin's Creed Black Flag and Killzone plus of course the free games you get as part of your PSN+ membership.
Both COD Ghosts and BF4 were upgrades from the PS3 versions I already owned, apart from the severe amount of frustration yesterday trying to do anything on the PSN all went smoothly.
You can really see the difference in BF4 between the PS3 and PS4 versions, the graphics are a lot sharper with more detail, just better overall really. The game itself seems to play better but perhaps that it just me.
As for COD Ghosts I have to say that so far I am less than impressed by it, it looks like a 'port' of the PS3 version with some slightly better graphics if I am honest. I haven't played much of it so far so it may get better, but from what I have seen so far it has been disappointing.
I just hope that the initial teething problems with PSN do not continue, but I believe that the same problems were encountered on the USA launch as well. So why the hell did Sony not anticipate this on the UK launch as well?

Anyone upgrade there hard drive yet?I'm just in the process of doing it now,I've upgraded to a Samsung HD 1TB 2.5 SATA drive 9.5mm,i'm just glad that I only downloaded 1 game to the Hard Drive.heres a video link if your thinking of doing it,As 500 GB these days won't last to long and will be full up before you know it.SJ.
I did read it yes and if the buyer was donating all of the money from the sale then thats a nice touch but he is only donating 50%.....He would still stand to make an aweful lot of money if some very generous person clicked the BIN button..

the ps3s HDD was easy to upgrade I upgraded my custom firmware fat box from 40gb to 640gb - just 1 screw simples i bet the ps4 is the same
Here's a Xbox One HDD upgrade guide.
PS4 update, so far so good. PSN was working last night, seemed slick. Only played BF4 so far. First couple of missions on SP which are pretty epic. GFX is very nice. MP played a couple of rounds TDM and that was also very slick and GFX were also smooth and not that far off the SP.
I was lucky as got all my stuff updated before PSN died on fri. So just used the time to start BF4 SP campaign. I normally dont bother as dive straight into MP. Very impressed though. Very smooth even when in big battles. The water effects stand out most. Spray on the windscreen looks very real. Just busted out of prison with the russian bloke.
Played a little MP earlier and again very slick. The map in the storm is awesome with the rain, win and lightning effects.

They were selling well on ebay, Ive no idea what they are making now. The one I had for sale made £550, console only, which was a touch..
I got over £600 for a day one. Just debating if I should put it straight up on there, or wait a little in case demand increases nearer Christmas.
One thing that annoys me about BF4 MP is that every time I go back into play my Server Browser Filters have all cleared so have to reset them as mostly playing TDM to rank up a bit quicker and get the weapon unlocks. Also many times it finds no TDM servers, I then add Conquest and all of a sudden it finds loads of TDM servers. I shouldn’t be surprised that its buggy having played the BF series a lot before.
I was thinking about picking up BF4,but I might give COD-GHOST a try,Killzone is the first, first person shooter that I have played so really I'm just trying to get use to the the dynamics of the game play.I have always played third person aspect games which I am very very good at like GEARS OF WAR which back in the days must of accounted for at least 5 to 10 hours of my day every day

Which one is that mate?I would of got that one.I looked into expanding the internal HD before I even had my PS4 the one that I ordered before turned up today so I just got on with it and got it installed,I fitted a seagate/samsung 1TB I was looking for the 2TB one from seagate but when I did my enquiry they said that they would not be shipped to the UK until around February/march 2014,so I just ordered the 1TB one,Shaun just make sure the one that you get is no higher then 9.5mm as I was told that's the thickest HD that will fit in the PS4 original location. But I have doubled the HD storage to 1TB from the O.E 500GB so I'm happy with that for now,it was easy peasy SONY have really thought about there consoles design and accessibility

Second thoughts I'm going to wait for the 2TB drives to come out at that price for 1.5TB.
I have all the games I want for the PS4 for the next few months, so 500GB will be more than enough until new software starts coming out that's worth getting.

I upgraded my original 40GB PS3, but I have come nowehere near filling it up in the 7 years I have had it.
Isn't 500GB enough? I know more games will move to digital distribution, but still, even if a game ws the full 50gb of a Blu Ray (which most aren't), that's still getting on for 100 games. Ok, I know save data etc, so that's a bit simplistic, still!
What are you filling it with?
