Well I tried 4 Asdas and 1 Tesco. Total waste of time. I asked at each store how many extra units they had got for walk in customers and it ranged from 8 to 20. So a bit of a con really. At my local Tesco there were easily 150 people in line at 1030pm. The guy I spoke too said they had given out tickets to walk in customers during the day - so if you went in at lunch time you could pick up a ticket. Pretty unfair I thought TBH. People were still standing in line "just in case"?? He said they had 80 in total, with 60 being preordered.
Asda was no better, the lines were not that long, maybe 20 - 30 people but they had almost no extra stock. I was at one Asda at exactly 12:01 and at about 12:04 after serving what seemed like 6 or 7 people they just shouted thats it sold out...
I hope their TV adverts were worth it, because I doubt there was any profit in it given the numbers of units they were selling.

wife got to sainsburys for 6am (7 open), 2nd in queue. poor management by sainsburys then lead to a "race" to the exlectrics desk when the store opened.
they had 12 consoles, 3 employees were already in the queue the chap in front had family members turn up at 6:58 and bought 3, then the wife got the 7th, all whilst I was tucked up in bed, what a keeper!!
john lewis had some last night but sold out in under 10 minutes, argos you have to queue this morning.

Billy, Ive just been to my local Argos and walked out with 2! The guy told me they canceled all reserved PS4's and show no stock online so people have to go to the store and collect to make it fair.....Its worth a shot.

Has anyone got the Shadowfall bundle?
Is a hard copy of killzone included or do you get a code? I've got 2 bundles and the game is missing from both packs? I can't find a download code and it is not installed on the console?

Key elements so far with the PS4:
PS4 Console
Build quality & aesthetics - Better than I expected and like the angular look, smaller unit than XBO - but not by a great deal in reality, feels quite "light" but sturdy, don't like the half "piano black" style - but that's a personal thing.
Fan noise - louder than the XBO (based on the playtesting I have done on both machines), I was watching a TV program and could hear the fan in the background.
OS front-end - Looks very clean, minimalistic and quick - evolution of the PS3 interface.
OS functionality - Too minimalistic when compared to the XBO functionality - perhaps it's a presentation thing, it's certainly functional as a games machine - that may be it's Achilles' heal in the future.
Update process - 330MB day one patch to OS, very quick process (from my experience)
Camera - did not buy
Controller - much better than the DS3, feels so much more ergonomic, D-Pad is a vast improvement, thumbsticks work well with FPS, has a built in speaker on the pad (adds to environment when used in game), has a built in touch pad which adds to gaming functionality, in-built charging facility out of the box.
Vita Integration - Well.... it works for starters!, remote play is currently floored - way too jerky, it will certainly add to the experience if they make use of the second screen functionality and sort out the Wi-Fi data transfer issues with Remote Play
GAMES
Killzone - Shadow Fall
Look - Beautiful / Stunning @ 1080p/60fps, stills and YT video do not do this justice
Environments - awesomely rich and detailed - this is what next gen is about, makes the experience so much more, country mile away from PS3 imo
Playability - I'm really loving it - has a good mix of things to do, rather than just shooting the **** out of things, in truth - un-expectantly good
Overall impressions:
Pretty much the same as my overall impressions with the XBO - this is much better than it's predecessor and the future looks bright for the now, current gen.
There will undoubtedly be lots of new stuff and developments coming in the future and this is all a step in the right direction.
One thing is pretty clear at the moment though..... the PS4 and XBO are very similar in their capabilities. It should be about the games and I suspect the clincher for anyone should be the exclusives. Don't let the other internet hype get in the way of that realisation.

I was just going to post my findings, but they are quite similar to your own,I will still add my 2 cents
if your looking for a next Gen console you are spoilt for choice, with the XBOX ONE & the PS4 being superb machines, all they both need now is the BIG hitters to come out the true TRIPLE"A"titles and personal EXCLUSIVES for this battle of next Gen consoles to really kick off,I think what I'm really trying to say is you could buy anyone of these consoles and be completely satisfied.SJ.
