What they done to the engine - my non turbo engine seems to take up more room under the bonnet than this one.

TMIC is a good idea in theory as it keeps the intake plumbing extremely short. also wit hthe scoop and rubber seal between the scoop and IC it would probably outperform a similar sized FMIC without proper sealed shrouding. ofcourse there is the high speed issue though.. i wonder has anyone wool tufted the bonnet to see how the air behaves around the scoop and over the bonnet at higher speeds? maybe a taller scoop would help or some vortex generators on the leading edge of the bonnet or something to encourage air to stick to the bonnet rather than push up and over the TMIC scoop at high speeds.
