Default Removal of newage c section

Hi guys

I've recently fitted some uprated headers on my bugeye and there hitting the c section underneath. I've spoke to a couple of people who seem to think that I can just remove them and leave them off apparently like the spec c??

Can anybody give me any advice on this as I would personally of thought it would be added strength/support for the underneath almost like a h brace

Also sorry if its in the wrong section but wasn't exactly sure where to put this.

Cheers
