517bhp is not that aggressive, you really need to get your suspension setup sorted....

It really is lol, again without knowing full specs of the car its a sweeping generalisation.

The set up is fine, its the way the boost is mapped to come in etc. And for what I use it for it is perfect.

Not a sweeping generalisation but speaking from experience, this was aggressive but not uncontrollably so due to AVCS not working at the time

boost curve

Again all depends on the use. The suspension set up is perfect for it, as my times show

It isn't a road map, and is designed to be that aggressive. I could get it dialled back a bit and bring the boost in differently if I wanted it as a road map. But I don't.

Like I say, every spec and use is different, just because yours wasn't "that" aggressive, that's your choice and requirements, I want mine to be as aggressive as possible as that is what I need and chose to do.

Doesn't mean it isn't or is wrong, just a different approach to other people. I don't follow the crowd, I build my car for me with what I do with it and how I drive it. Its suits me fine and does what it is designed for perfectly.

That is why I run so much boost as without cams, a crap exhaust manifold and no headwork I need to run more boost to get the power. But hopefully with the new exhaust manifold that should be arriving next month I shall be dialling the boost back and making a bit more power.

What does it matter what I use it for? Other than it works perfectly fine for me. Its a drag car mainly, and the fact I very rarely use it on the road means the high boost map can be as aggressive as I like because it isn't used on the road.

A lot of peoples cars mapped for road use are a lot more conservative with the mapping and boost delivery.

Also my exhaust manifold is strangling ings at the top end, its a japspeed thing. But will be been replaced by a titanium manifold once Iis fabbed.
Some people on this website are so fickle, before judging and making sweeping statements not every car and spec is the same. Mine is built and used for a completely different set of circumstances.

And thus required a different approach to get the power.

My high boost map is designed for one purpose and one purpose only, its virtually unusable on the road in high boost it is too aggressive

Wasn't quite the 2.75 bar boost as first thought though was it chap???
