A British white female mate of mine is soaking sun on an Egyptian beach with her two kids right now. She's in the British Egypt i.e. Sharm-el-Shiekh, so she is not bothered, she says.

I hate to see those kinds of troubles. I really hope they can work out some kind of arrangement which can be maintained.

My thoughts too. What a waste of human life.

Some of them see it as fighting for freedom and the price worth paying. A lot of our grandparents did the same (admittedly external rather than internal war)

Christ, get the information right before you announce it and raise people's blood pressure, man! I nearly rang Cameron to send our British army and calm things down in the British Egypt Sharm. Now ask your missus to give you a slap for me for causing me anxiety for sod all, or I'll just have to kill you when I see you.

On a serious note, such a shame for any country to go through such unrest and bloodshed. Very unfortunate.

Difficult to see what was achieved by those who died.
