I've a mk1 s-special for a few years now, selling up to make way for a mk3. Just finished welding the sills on mine, ready for MOT then it will be up for sale.
Started to gather/make bits for M45 conversion but never got around to it - shame but feel it's time to move on, and the mk3 felt better than I thought it would!

I think your current price of £3750 is very fair. Wagon's seem to command a better rate than saloons so I say stick to your guns and the right buy will come along soon enough.
Also the price of tidy classic's appears to have increased the last few year, this could also hurt newage prices.
