Ignore him Lisa, he's just another one of those trying to score a few points with cheap shots and isn't worth the bother

Lisa, if you can be bothered to go to the start of the thread you will see the discrepencies appear in this malicious fantasy that is going on in this particular individuals warped little mind.
Fa1l_fan tells so many lies he cannot remember what he has written and then tells more lies to cover those lies.
Check posts 50 and 51 especially and you'll see how transparent he is.

I can understand he posted this thread to see what reaction it got, but I honestly don't believe it was made up.
You were trying to 'catch him out' over the amount of people employed/whether the geordie was there. If you bother to read, he'd already said in post 47 that he believed the guy employed 15 people, so more than 4 and that was said before you mentioned the 4 employees in post 50/1 . And what is so unbelievable with the idea that the guy turned up with these 4 workers, set them off to work but didn't stay for the whole job as he had other work to carry out.
Just last week, a few of the staff I work with were away on a charity project. The first day, our asst. manager went with them and worked there all day, the second day, he dropped the team off, waited for them to be set away with the tasks for that day, then he left and picked them up at the end of the day.
I'm not being funny, but ask yourself how many times either you or other members have started a thread, and perhaps not given an entire chronological account of what happened in the OP. Not because you/anyone else was lying, just because it was a general story, and other info has been given purely as a result of questions asked. You want to make this into some massive conspiracy, when there is nothing to actually back that up.

I can't help feeling some people, maybe yourself included, are just looking too hard for any inroad to attempt to make him out to be a liar.

This bothers me a bit, but I'm not going to be over critical only because plenty of us have probably done sort of the same thing from time to time (not you, but I possibly have so I don't want to say too much )
However, on this subject, what gets to me is how blinkered some people can appear. As soon as 'foreigner' is mentioned, it is seen as a negative and it wouldn't matter what the story around the thread was, some would just look for any way possible to be critical or even at times unpleasant.
The reality is, some people are good, some people aren't. Some people are dodgy and on the take, some people aren't and the key part is, they come in all different shapes and sizes and colours and creeds and backgrounds. You can't write off all immigrants as being bad or dodgy or any other label, just the same as the whole of the white population shouldn't be written off either.
I always speak from my own experiences around me, but I still don't generalise to the point of some people on here. I am always aware that my experiences alone aren't enough and therefore listen to other people. I will put my point across, but that is because I say how I see and it gives other people a different perspective from their own. And generally speaking (eek) it all goes back to there is good and bad the world over, within every section of every society.

Sorry for interrupt, may i just say that, a country without immigrants is good, with immigrants is even better, what matter to me is that there are still some nice and good people out there.

Yet more sparklingly intelligent contribution from one of Scoobynet's more intellectually challenged members (and that is saying something given the unbelievably low standards of this board these days).
