Long gone buddy - my mate now owns it as of last Saturday. Bought it from a seller in Solihull, West Midlands who listed it on ebay.

Jonny - bout'ye brother? It's Mario who was trying to get the car from you before Xmas from him and you were going to ferry it and meet us in Scotland. When it came up for sale again and it was in the West Midlands we forwarded the link to him and we told him it was his destiny to have a 2nd chance at the car - he bought it right away. The car is a credit to you mate and I have been through your build posts and I know how much you put into the car. He absolutely loves it mate and I can guarantee you it will be well loved and looked after.

All the best mate and give my regards to Knockagh War Memorial - fun times with the girls up there in my youth

Jonny seen as tho you built the car if your serious about wanting to buy it back I would consider letting you have it. BUT you would have to pay for the damage the ebay rad that decided to seperate the end cap from the core caused on top of what I paid for the car. Just got the car back from Andy Kindon on Friday night, new genuine subaru head gaskets new genuine rad fitted. The heads had warped so badly that they had to be skimmed quite a lot and it now needs to be remapped because of the change in compression ratios asap. As it stands I currently have to drive the car off boost until I can find the money and the time to get it mapped. 80 miles done so far and I'm absolutely sick as a dog.. I still love the car as its an absolute beast when its working right and I'm more than willing to spend the money on getting it running right but if I get it mapped it will be mapped for 99 Ron fuel so if you do want it back let me know soon cos I'm aware a 99 Ron map will not be suitable for you. I also got a replacement exedy organic clutch fitted whilst the engine was out as it was 80% worn and slipped like mad on high boost. It's also had new ferodo pads fitted all round and new rear discs fitted as you are probably already aware from the time we spoke via email not long ago.

No mate I have left it as it was as I feel the car is more than capable without spending a small fortune on head mods. I am looking at upgrading the ecu to alkatek when I get it mapped tho for the better control of knock. I'm just trying to find out what kind of time frame is involved in sending the ecu away and getting it back and getting it mapped. If this is possible without the car being off the road for more than 7 days then I'm going to do it shortly after Xmas as I'm not allowed to spend anymore money in the car till then lol.
