I don't get the comment someone made about the focus having as much grip as an impreza or evo?

Are you just talking about grip in the sense of cornering, off power?

The thing I like about my impreza is that it'll dig in out if a bend and just accelerate as I require, in any weather. I've driven the RS a few times, and I've been in one when it was raining too. In the wet it was silly really, it was spinning in 3rd gear. How that can ever be a good thing I don't know. If you came out of a roundabout in the wet and nailed it before being straight you'd just slide straight on.

One thing I do find odd is a lot of people mention them feeling slow, even above someone said his scoob felt more aggressive. I wonder if the one I drove had been mountune'd. It was an ex ford demo, but I was very impressed with the performance. I remember my mate telling me to have a go and I was thinking oh god, I'm gonna have to say "yeah, it's good" while looking convincing. Thing is it felt very nippy, really had a big hit of torque.

Whats not to get, you say youve driven one? in dry conditions an RS will go round any bend as quick as a scoob or evo....

Admitadly in the wet it wont be as good, but still not as bad as people make out if you drive to the conditions i.e. smooth on the throttle rather than stamping on it like you do in your scoob.
