Really? Good for you, I don't think bringing an old thread up for a laugh as you put it in earlier post is clever (post 27 now edited, clever) if you spoke to him recently seen as you know him so well.

And if you agree it's not funny then why put it up

i dont think nick meant it as a dig at me mate.that old thread is something that i'd rather put behind me, as at the time chy still had his **** lickers backing him up and i went through a very bad time with it all.but tbh it might be a good idea to bring it all back up if chy is still trading and doing the same to others.i thought chy had moved on from robbing people and bodging motors up,but obviously he hasn't.it should be made a sticky.
DONT SPEND MONEY ON ANYTHING THAT CHY(PENNINE SUBARU)HAS TOUCHED.

Agree with you on that arf, but he said it was a 'funny' read which he edited after my comment, that was the only issue I saw 'considering' .......

But as you know him then fair enough.

Personally I love reading old threads like that one and the others that have been linked to it, having had my own experience around the same time with one of them, I can only second big arf's suggestion that they are made into sticky's to advise any unsuspecting newbs of the customer service they won't receive if the worst should happen, in fact as detailed in these threads some will do anything to deny any responsibility even in the face of damming evidence to the contrary, then threaten legal action and continue to trade, as everyone knows these things are very difficult to prove and by the time the customer has been to hell and back, most like myself just want it to be over with and move on.

Bigarf is only one of the characters I'm lucky enough to have made friends with via S'net.....

He is a one man manual on who to avoid when it comes to tuning Subaru's various models

I've never known one man have so little luck with "tuners"....

Till AJ sorted him out !

dunx

P.S. Isn't this just very old meat being re-hashed ? With all respect to the O.P.

This has surprised me, I didn't realise Pennine had gone under and I am currently in the middle of a court case with him. Shoddy engine work which resulted in engine knock after only 30 mins on the dyno at Area 52 while a simple base tune was being done to get the thing run in. Also kicking out tons of blue smoke and found aluminium swarf in the oil amongst lots of other problems, also charging for warranty work then sending me back someone else's engine instead of mine! This was 18 months ago now as the courts take forever but goes to court next month.

I don't expect him to turn up at all but we have been able to get in touch with him at his works address and 6 months ago on his mobile.

This doesn't sound like it will be as simple as I had hoped to get my money back from him now, but I am determined to do all I can to get every penny out of him that he owes me. Avoid him at all costs, it has cost me a lot of money and now have a car which has sat unused for almost 2 years due to him.

If anyone has his home address if you would be able to PM his details it would be much appreciated!
