RETURN OF THE JEDI
I've had people say to me why didn't you just go and buy a Porsche or something, and my answer is A, it's taken me a long time to spend this amount of money, it's not like I have £50k to go and spend in one go, B i should be able to suprise a lot of off the shelf Porsche or equivalent, and C I like the idea that I've made this car my own.

,still a few bits to be done first though, buts that's how Neil works making sure everything is perfect as usual,so I am just enjoying my vision come together still have a few plans up my sleeve
but am more then happy with how it's turning out
.Here is some pics to have a look at,more to come soon.SJ.

Cheers mate, your own project inspired me frayz
as it has for a lot of people, and in my personal opinion has set the standard (set the bar
)for a proper build along with a few of the over big tuners like RCM,ET,etc....that's why I tried to think meticulously and take my time when I was planing through every part of this build and i am so glad that Neil and I think so much alike with getting things done right the first time with the ethos measure five times cut once kind of attitude it will get there in the end and hopefully the finish line does not look that far away now.SJ.

I really appreciate all the positive comments, and I'm glad that all the hard work and planing is showing through
Your right about planning do it once do it right, that does not mean you can't a step back once in a while to take three forward but if you can plan a straight a true line that's always best. I learnt a lot on my project and the one thing it taught me the most that when I was young I never had a lot of is patience now I have it in abundance and I think you are probably getting there as well
I see a lot of projects rushed through and revisited but not this one.

I have decided to save up like crazy for the next two years to put a big deposit down to get a bigger house.
Hence now I am working 6 weeks in the middle east and 2 weeks at home for the next year to two years.
I have put the modding on the impreza on hold until I have done this
but I am dropping off my impreza at RA Motorsport on Wednesday
for a mot and spray all my chrome parts under my bonnet a mixture of some parts white and some candy blue and also spray a new alternator and my AC unit candy blue as well along with things like my strut brace.
When I have done this and have bought another house I will get the impreza 2.1 stroked and big turbo but now its going to be a year or two away before I do this, I was thinking of selling the impreza and going for a evo 9 but I think I will just keep the scoob and finish it after I finish doing the big rotation abroad
It does look immense

Agree with Gez on this, the black factory look makes it very professional Adrian!
How's the motivation going in the build, I guess something like this has ups and downs? You should definitely be on a high right now though looking at what you've achieved
