RETURN OF THE JEDI
Mishimoto make great parts mate, I've got the limited edition gold intercooler and is a lovely bit of kit.
You won't go wrong with quality and I'm pretty sure the evo boys rave about their radiators

I saw my intercooler and had to have but I asked around a bit before hand. It seems they're just not well known in the subaru scene.
I spoke to amber performance who supplied all my cossie engine parts and they sell loads and have never had an issue. Apparently they stick to what they know - cooling. I also had a map tweak on the rollers in a place in kent, can't remember the name. But the mechanic was an evo nut and had some high bhp monster and I noticed he had a mishi rad and asked him what he thought. Loads of them have them and have a good rep. They're a lot bigger in America too.
I've also got a mishi thermostat which is a few degrees lower than the cossie one. Works perfectly and never had an issue

Love this build
and how carefully you have picked all you items to work together, should be awesome to finally finish and see what its capable of!
What specs are your wheels, offset and width and stuff? As I plan to get bigger callipers eventually (Hopefully the AP ones as well) but I do not want my wheels to not clear the breaks haha as that would break me XD and hopefully I will be ordering some custom offset and width wheels this summer so don't want to get the measurements wrong...
Thanks!

the wheels are 18x8j I'm not to sure of the off set I ordered them in from Italy when they first came out many moons ago but will have a look for you, just keep in mind any 18 inch wheel that will clear a gold STI Brembo Newage calliper will clear AP'S
Well after starting a thread up for recommendations on what light weight battery to use,I decided on the bigger brother then the diddy PC680 ODYSSEY but still much lighter then the O.E size battery the PC925,it turned up today great you would think
but NO
after getting excited I emailed my friend in the USA a picture just to confirm that it's the right one,he said it is BUT if I'm looking to install it in the engine bay its the wrong one, confused
I was, until he told me of the colour system odyssey use for there battery's black is the model designed for instalment in the boot or in your car under the seat etc...reason being they can't take engine temps the all red odyssey battery's are there MJ series which are designed for engine bays MJ=(METAL JACKET) so it's now boxed up and will be going straight back tomorrow, the only rub is that there is a two to three week wait for the right model to be sent from the states
.Here's a picture so if you are looking at the odyssey range you don't make the same mistake.not even DT knew the difference and I had to educate them
But in all honesty the UK stockist that I have ordered from have agreed to get the battery picked up and honour the price that I have paid even though the MJ battery is £25 more result
.SJ.
Looks like the MJ series from the top
.

But look closer on the sides
.

From: Wherever I park my car, that's my home
I have other plans for around my car and moving the battery from it's original place was not one of them, plus I'm trying to cut down on the weight of my car not add to it by running hefty power cables through my car, when the power cables are in place already.SJ.

Nothing much to Add really just a headlight change to SPEC C and after looking at Si project and asking a few questions to Bob at Aztec when he was on holiday and getting answers back
I decided to purchase a phormula KS-3 for knock detection sensing as it will be a visual and audible warning if things are not right. My project is going quite well just some O.E parts for the build that I'm waiting to be delivered, who ever made up that word miscellaneous it's the small parts that after starting my project build seem to be holding it up
.Anyway here is some pics.SJ.
PHORMULA KS-3.

SPEC-C HEAD LIGHTS.

Thanks bruv, trying to keep it together. With projects I find that if you lose interest they slowly die and are either sold or broken for spare parts, that's why I love to see other guys projects yours included
as it gives me zeal to carry on when I am getting frustrated with my one,But then I see how my project is coming together and I'm happy again

SJ I know how you feel man, all the little bits add up and there is always another little bit that you need and no one has ever heard of!
Keep with it mate, going through mine I can see how people get bored and move on, but that it what makes those that do get finished all the better, will be worth it when you hit full boost for the first time!

I am trying to keep the buzz going I think that's why I'm always spending money on parts, even things that I don't really need but it makes me feel like I'm still doing something and moving forward and not just treading water if you get my drift.I have no intention yet of backing down I want this project finished, one good thing though is that my wife's car should be finished and mapped next week

)

.Yeah Having all the O.E connectors makes things alot easier, out with the old and straight in with the new
