I once had a shop which bought things, enhanced them and then sold them to customers (PCs) , or added things to customers' existing PCs.
Very occasionally the kit supplied to us was faulty, or failed under warranty and it could be difficult, the customer expecting us (quite rightly) to put it right. The problem is that if we bought, say, a specialised piece of equipment as an 'instant' replacement we couldn't get our money back on the item under warranty, so we ended up with something in stock that we might not sell for some time.

I do have sympathy with small businesses.

However, it is something that you have to take the knock for as well, and the measure of any individual or organisation is how they handle problems.

Perhaps they would care to add a little more feedback?

I also wonder whether we as a community are getting to the point where any post that's critical of a business should be brought to the attention of that business, in order that it can respond.

(I believe that only last week we had a business that had been the subject of criticism requesting the removal of a thread and mentioning solicitors).
