2 things.
First, I'd buy the RB320 (and this from an old school Fast ford fan who had a MK1 FRS)
Secondly. While at the Garage, I'd have asked for a test drive of one of the 911's.

Nice car...
I've also got a 59 plate green one one the drive
Absolute ****e for traction.......but who cares
They still have so much road presence.....my missis uses it as her daily driver.
Listen out for a light clunking noise though on the front end 65+ , i thought I had a dodgy wheel , turned out to be a £500 front shaft
They look better with the gloss black wheels aswel

Nice car, you'll enjoy it. My mate has a white one and I have driven it a couple of times. Ignore all the **** about it needing 4WD, you just need to learn to drive it a little differently to an Impreza. Once you learn the car it is a very rapid point to point machine and a lot of fun, but with Ford running costs
As has been said it has amazing road presence and looks stunning..... that, Subaru, is how to design and style a hatch!!!

Driven one
Now the mk1 had plenty of flaws , mine was running 310/320 and was a full blown ditch finder with the torque steer
Mint car as standard though....
The mk2 yeah spins up a bit......grips like **** to a blanket though
If you have one or owned one fella ....feel free to comment
If your listening to usual crap tales don't bother

My friend had a MY10 Lux1&2 version, that we collected from GW in fact, I drove that on a few different occasions (fairly quickly too) and if I'm honest... in the dry, I thought it was phenominal. The steering wheel did tend to squirm in my hands a bit, but I actually enjoyed that rather than feeling as though the car didn't need any input from me and I could just stamp on the loud pedal and it'd take off all on it's own.
Would I have one over an equivalent aged Impreza (UK or JDM)..... yes, without a doubt.
Cheers,
Grant

Many standard Focus RS don't make 300bhp as standard but theres not many standard ones around. They are stunning cars though. I own a Focus ST running 330bhp but would still love an RS at some point.
I don't struggle with wheelspin or torque steer evenin the wet and have no issue getting out of junctions before the usual BMW drivers try flashing their headlights, I'm usually way down the road before they have thought about it.
Enjoy the modding bug with the RS, once you join an owners club that's it.

Have you joined? I assume you have only paid the deposit so I would ask if anyone on there knows the history of your car.
Well worth to pay the membership fee to open up the full forum. I saved more than the membership fee on discounted detailing bits.
Are you going to get a 3rd party vehicle check? I did an AA one for piece of mind but mine was private.

Pulling out is not too bad but then I believe the torque in the RS is limited in first.
