I've just cracked a can open of full fat Coca Cola. There goes my fitness plan for 2013 down the drain!

Steve, can you tell the Cadbury boss to stop making Cadbury chocolate with rounded edged squares? Clear cut solid edged tasted much better and round edges are just wrong! Thanks.

Ok. If that is the only cause you ought to dwell on, stop consuming it, and feel happy about it. Let others go with what they want, you have warned them, that's all you can do. They may wait for firmer evidence to believe in what you say, but you go with what you think is right for you. Drink plenty of water to flush it out. It should keep you hydrated. Don't do too much of it either. Nothing is good for you in excessive dosage. Along with that, focus on the positives in life. There could be many, if you look for them. Good luck, SBT.

Its pretty simple to me:

Would you knowingly eat synthetic food?
Would you knowingly drink synthetic liquids?

If the answer to both is no. Stop eating "diet" branded shyte.

The irony is I put synthetic oil in my car...but I wouldn't use it to fry my mars bars with

If you are fat; eat less do more. Buy some digital scales and weigh your food/drink portions if you have to (that includes snacks and sweets). Seriously, thats what I had to do a while back to work out why I was gaining weight...guess what, calorie-wise, I was eating too much. Its easy to work out as most packaging has its nutritional values per 100grams (except beer ).

I stopped drinking coke about two years ago, used to drink 4/5 cans a day, cut down to one or two tins, then none (full fat Coke only - IMO all diet drinks have a disgusting aftertaste). It doesn't half cause some cravings, almost as bad as cigarettes.

PS alot of my relatives have no hair, or are receding, most of us all eat/drink and live like slobs (I've only reformed in latter years), I have heat defects from one side of the family, and cholesterol from the other. But I still have plenty of hair, too much...I wear out the hair trimmers (fourth pair in five years...got some whal ones this time though, so should last a bit longer )

I will eat most synthetic 'diet' products, especially if its nutritional content is close to 0.
I don't expect to have long, healthy life by doin this.
I do however, draw the line at 'calorie-free' peanut butter. That worries even me!

Please don't buy into it ScooByer, or anyone else.

Dr Janet Hull, "holds a Doctorate in Nutrition, a Master's Degree in Environmental Science, is an international geographer and geologist, a former university professor, firefighter and Hazardous Waste Specialist and Emergency Responder"

Her doctorate comes from Clayton College of Natural Health (source http://www.detoxprogram.net/about-dr-janet-hull.php). This college is a non-accredited college (i.e. you pay for a doctorate and that's about it, i.e. a fraud).

Took 2 minutes of googling. This geologist should not be trusted to give medical advice, she is not a doctor in this field.

If it really is dangerous as you say, where is the medical factual evidence.

Did anyone see 50 dangerous things with diet & gyms lastnight. Diet products have less sugar to appear healthier but they have aspartame to keep them sweet. Then because they are tricking your brain they make you hungrier so you eat more!

mmm, interesting, you admit in post 65 that you drank tones of the stuff. Could it be you actualy OD'd on it?

and before you say, if you can OD on it so should be banned then water shoudl be banned as well, becasue you can OD on water.

realy does sound like you have been taken in hook line and sinker by that website that woman is peddling.

Yes.

I like this...

Dr. Hull co-founded and operates GREEN, a Federal 501C3 Wildlife Preservation for endangered animals on her ranch in Northeast Texas. She has one of the largest collections of endangered tortoises from around the world.
So her ranch is a charity too, how lovely.

Could it be that your current anxiety state is causing you to fixate on potential hazards in life or alternatively encouraging you to hang on to single theories as potential cures for your condition?
I had a dog.....and his name was BINGO!

nope, although it is possible to be allergic to it which, like any bad allergy, can have very bad health effects.
