to op, you understand its common for us here to get low posters jump in with wild claims, linking a site, its usually spam.
not that im saying yours is spam, but if its linked to income generation in one way or another - i just ignore it.
aspartame has been covered many times, most of the info is known, or atleast a mild degree of info, warning people its not nice stuff. the powers that legislate these things still allow it to be an ingrediant, and i presume base this on a single products content at a time.
although now its much more common to see people, more in the u.s but also here sit with monumental cups of juice at cinemas ect. so the dose for a single 330ml can will be significantly different from a half gallon jug. so it must surley go by its content level per 100ml?? and still deemed safe for human consumption - the emphasis being on the individual to control there consumption of foods/drinks with aspartame in it?
but also as said above, listing side effects isnt always a good idea - there a list of all "possible" effects, not a garuntee of definate conditions.
list of ibuprofen side effects :-
chest pain, weakness, shortness of breath, slurred speech, problems with vision or balance;
black, bloody, or tarry stools, coughing up blood or vomit that looks like coffee grounds;
swelling or rapid weight gain;
urinating less than usual or not at all;
nausea, upper stomach pain, itching, loss of appetite, dark urine, clay-colored stools, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes);
fever, sore throat, and headache with a severe blistering, peeling, and red skin rash;
bruising, severe tingling, numbness, pain, muscle weakness; or
severe headache, neck stiffness, chills, increased sensitivity to light, and/or seizure (convulsions).
Less serious side effects of ibuprofen may include:
upset stomach, mild heartburn, diarrhea, constipation;
bloating, gas;
dizziness, headache, nervousness;
skin itching or rash;
blurred vision; or
ringing in your ears.
This is not a complete list of side effects and others may occur. just google it and youll find as many as you want.
or alcohol :-
... on the Brain
The worst effect of alcohol addiction is on the brain. As mentioned above, alcohol directly affects the central nervous system and slows down its function. The other effects include:
Impaired behavior and judgment
Memory loss
Lack of concentration and coordination
Impaired vision and hearing
Slower motor skills and reactions
Mood swings
Slurred speech
... on the Liver
Alcohol slows down the process of metabolism in liver. If this continues for a longer time, it can result in permanent damage of the liver. Effects of alcohol on the liver include:
Jaundice
Liver cirrhosis
Alcoholic hepatitis
Alcoholic fatty liver
Liver cancer
... on Digestive System
Excess consumption of alcohol damages the internal lining of the GI tract. It indirectly affects the internal organs and glands of the digestive system. Alcohol side effects on digestive system include:
Vomiting
Peptic ulcers
Throat cancer
Stomach cancer
Gastritis
Hemorrhaging
Colon cancer
... on Reproductive System
One may not be aware but drinking alcohol indirectly affects the reproductive system in both men and women. In their pregnancy period, women are advised to stop alcohol consumption completely as it can lead to mental retardation in babies. The following are the other damaging effects of alcohol on the reproductive system:
Infertility
Impotency
Breast cancer
Sterility (in men)
Atrophy of testes (in men)
so see scaremongering with possible side effects, can often lead to people being blase of warnings imo.
balanced veiws and opinions are the best way imo, not sensationalising things to the extreme - not that im saying your doing exactly that mate.

read first few lines of that site - total sensationalist sh*te tbh mate
a fcking joke.
within the few lines i just read -
In the event that the public becomes too informed and savvy about toxic additives in our food supply, what’s a multi-billion dollar industry to do? The first step is to create another more toxic version of the additive. The second step is to collude with regulatory authorities such as the FDA to convince the public that the new, more toxic additive is safe. blah blah blah!!
so the site is to have us beleive the large companies will go out there way to purposely produce a MORE TOXIC ingrediant - once the general populas gets too informed on aspartame!!!
why would they push for a more toxic replacement 9 and one they would have to spend millions of dollars on actually CREATING it!, instead of a less toxic option. then go on to bully regulators into accepting it then finally to make sure its hidden from ingrediant labels - all of this ON PURPOSE!!
CREDIBILITY FAIL - imo mate. sorry

Too much of anything will do you harm or kill you. Lots of salt in preprepared foods which will do you no good. Lots of fats in foods which will do you no good.
If you listen to some folk, even the tap water in your home will do you no good, as its Flouride content is apparently harmful also.
Everything in moderation - Dr Banks, can you prescribe this man some Lithuium please!!!

Could it be that your current anxiety state is causing you to fixate on potential hazards in life or alternatively encouraging you to hang on to single theories as potential cures for your condition?
As you relax and heal over time you will see that the above is indeed sensationalist bullsh1t.
See a psychologist and if need be (and you can afford it) see a nutritionist, balance your diet and do your best to avoid refined foods and preservatives, do tai chi if you can, get a load of exercise, take the meds Mr Doc gives you, and stay positive.
But try not to fixate on one potential cure or hazard to wellbeing

hair falling out can be MPB male pattern baldness, its usually common in males as it has links with testosterone levels and androgen receptors(i think)
hair falling out is very common in males, look about you immediate family, dad, brothers, uncles, grandparents ect - it can suddenly make sense if there are a few with receding hairlines ect knocking about in your blood line.
good place to stsart looking anyway - or every single male sitting witha full thick head of hair?
if so then atleast it semi excludes a genetic family trait

I also have a habit of being very straight to the point and it not working in my favour!! Lol
In reference to the last post, SBT, just keep taking the pills yeah? I've found quetiapine works well for anxiety if the aripiprazole isn't working well enough.
ScooByer Trade, if you have the concentration during your present difficulties to do so, then I would encourage you to develop critical thinking generally, but especially when considering what has happened to you and why. It is a technique of cognitive behavioural therapy and an example is what jef mentions in post #51. Even if your family doesn't have male pattern baldness it doesn't make it more likely that aspartame is the cause. Sometimes the simplest explanations can be the more difficult ones to swallow and for that reason we can look for elaborate explanations that remove our own personal responsibility and choices from the situation. In so doing, we disempower ourselves and reduce our http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Locus_of_control
