I went out shopping and specifically looked for JDHoney as a result of this thread but couldn't find it anywhere! Which supermarkets sell it?

Yes gentleman jack is smoother - double distilled iirc, but single barrel is what the head taster (who actually has his own parking space at the distillery - obviously he doesn't swallow) deems to be "exactly how jack Daniels should taste" as opposed to being a 'special'. It comes from 'normal' batches

Don't know anything about a gold, but I'm no expert

I wasn't sure about the apple punch version, but I have some in the cupboard and it's actually ok

I only really drink jd with ice (nice with coke, but I'd rather have it on its own. If I'm going to mix it, I'd rather use ginger ale - Canada Dry, not an own brand)

Having a glass just now, I like all the jack Daniels, polished off half a bottle of the ltd edition white rabbit saloon 43% at Hogmanay, not as smooth as gentleman jack but still drinkable neat.

Also got a bottle of 50% **** creek for Christmas, haven't tried it yet though.

I've had JD sauce in TGI Fridays (they do it with BBQ ribs or chicken) and it is so friggin' good and sticky. The Harvester serve JD sauce as well but isn't as good as TGI's.

I didn't realise you could buy it in a store, I must get some
