Scottish Independence
Any success that Scotland has or has potential to have is because it is part of England and the rest of the uk. I am very surprised to keep reading time and time again how one of the most powerful countries in the world (England) that punches well above its weight is being down trodden so much.
If all the Scottish lads think that the uk/England is a failure then clearly they have no ability to measure success and to think that Scotland is some how going to give England a lesson in how to run a country is laughable. (Its like a young lad telling a experienced driver whats what, sure they know in theory but in the real world its very different).
To add to some comments about the Scottish being liked, well they are seen as the poorer cousin of England so more of a sympathy thing.
As for England Scotland relationships, the Scottish have always (well in currant years) been welcomed in England but I cant say the same for Scotland being as welcoming to the English (except when they wont are tourism)

So it's not just Welsh/Irish/Scottish.
Papers over here are reporting the yes has the lead at the mo and England is going to send Gordon brown over to try and swing them over to no votes, sounds like it's getting desperate.
I say let them win their stupid vote, and see if anyone in the entire country benefits from it, except for politicians, civil servants and sign-painters.

So today, after the You Gov polls, and at the close of the market, we may be seeing the start of capital flight out of Scotland and further devaluation of the Pound Sterling. This was due to only the results of the poll and not even the result of the referendum.

Do you really have that attitude towards the English? The English as ive said have been more than welcoming to the Scottish over recent years and speak highly of Scotland but it would appear that you dont deserve any of it.
Ask yourself self this, why does the EU so desperately want the uk/England? I just wounder if they will be banging on the door of Scotland with such enthusiasm is the yes vote is successful.
It would be real shame if the yes vote is swung due to emotions as we could be stronger together but I suspect that this could be the case.
