I have no need to answer your question Dylan.

So your claiming that someone worked on the car after you and went about removing the pipe protection to leave it in a position to fail.....ok that's enough said I think lol

You can't answer it because you don't understand or you just wanted to cause this on an open forum?

The fact you are aiming this at me offends me. The car has been away from me for two/three years. I don't know what's happened to it since then.

I think you should get on the American forums and show them the error of their ways, when it comes to fitting these sandwich plates.

Seen a few on there in the engine build threads. Maybe we are all wrong.

And you are right, if you understand the principle of it??

That is all I have to say.

Ty I thought you were bigger than this
I haven't stated anything, I just want to get on and get the car sorted, there are issues that I could have brought to the fore previously but I have chosen not to bring out for public consumption.

I am not one to dwell on problems, I prefer to get them sorted and move on, learn a lesson and make sure they aren't repeated.

As for the issue of the oil cooler lines they have not been touched, removed, remounted, re-routed since they were fitted so I am at a loss as to where any protection would have gone?

I don't want this thread to be turned into a public slanging match, if that happens then I will ask for the posts to be removed and the thread locked until such time as the car is completed and then I will update the thread.

Why did he have a grudge against me? He doesn't know me personally only what someone has told him.

I didn't want it to get to this either I bit my tongue until his last post edit.

Like I told you before if you had issue why not speak to me about them. You still have my phone number.

Good luck with the build and the future but I will defend myself if I feel that I am having unfair press.

Ryan, peace out and keep up the good work.

It's in the welsh section. Everyone using the welsh section knows the history.

Enough said.

Keep up the good work.

No need to lock it Ty but if you would like a few bits removed then I'm happy to do so, we are all interested to watch things progress with the car here be a shame to loose sight of the plan evolve.

No that is okay Simon, it would seem to have calmed down and I hope that it stays that way.

Not if you have not ordered anything for a few months Ty as they will hardly recognise you there

Don't worry I have mobile numbers for TNT and FedEx plus I used to for UPS until they moved depot I text them when I have a parcel on route and they bring it to me... I know them all through work and they text me back asking where I want it dropped off to

I'll give you a kick in the buttocks the next time I'm up there, we all know that parking space is the one for cars for the scrappy to pick up.

And next time you can provide the refreshments, before long KFC in Hereford will be asking if I want a loyalty card and discount.

Thanks Rich, yes it is coming together nicely just waiting on one more item to arrive from the USA and that (hopefully) should be it on the parts.

I did actually make the tea last Saturday but no I didn't bring any biscuits, so you are wrong again.

As for graft, hmmm I have to earn the money to spend it but Ryan does the graft and I do the planning.

It will still be a while before it's ready as it had to go down to Enginetuner for the mapping but it is getting closer.

Coming along nicely Ty. Nearly there

A couple of shocking pics there though,

I thought it was bad practice to remove the standard oil cooler as this would work whilst the car is sat in traffic/slow moving traffic.
