The 340r pack lack of response compared to tje 320R pack ie. torque sounds better but lost torque
Uses fuel like its going out of fashion. 500 miles and averaged 16mpg. I would t mind if the car went as good as it sounds. The320R went better and averaged 21 mpg just didn't sound good
IMHO

Haha @tony did make me chuckle. I guess the graphs from the rolling road haven't helped the case then gents.
Best of luck with which ever route you're both taking. Pm me the outcome and what your plans are if you would rather not say on the open forum. Assuming with both your posts your kissing the warranty good buy which is understandable. Thanks for being open about it as it sort of helping me decide what to do when the warranty is up on the hatch.
Best of luck

Morning Tony, yeah I spoke with kev yesterday. You have something to match now mate, just shocked that you guys are that unhappy you're both dropping them in. If I do go for one I think I will stick with the 320r pack or just sod the warranty.
Best of luck

1st prize 330S pack
2nd Prize Pro-R filter
3rd Prize 340R pack

RIP OFF
Mine will be Mapped next Sat by Pat @ Scooby Clinic so we will see what difference a propper map makes to these car's and not a FLASH Map with a pair of back box's we get from Pro r for £1700 as I say a F**king RIP OFF ( IMHO).......

So, I'm keeping mt 330s pack then.. along with 27mpg? (21mpg in 'I' mode though lol)

I can't find tge Subaru Pro r site only the one that crossroads Subaru run the pro r racing one. Even a link from pioneers site takes me to a spam page so my entry for the competition is r = redundant

Stevie, its not that I'm unhappy with the car as I love it and would not change it for anything else, but I think the 320r and the 340r upgrades are a Rip off and not worth the £££££££, It will be nice to see what difference a Good Map to my car will make and not a FLASH map which you get with Pro-r, I'm not doing any other mods then a scooby clinic Re-map which will be a nice safe map so hopfully won't need the warranty, it will just be nice to see the difference in the maps and if it all works out then maybe one or two others may do the same and be happy with there cars again....

I have a theory about the problem but need a ECUTEK mapper input to see if I'm talking squat.
My car went ok in the summer ish. And reckon its definately got worse the colder it's got. Also my fuel consumption is abnormally high. Low down torque is missing. I reckon on a manual choke I'd have left partically on .
Now this is the opposite to older Subarus the always go better in the winter
IIRC Our new cars have a wideband MAF sensor that takes air temperature and allows different amounts of oxygen in same volume of air at different temps.
so the question is when running in open loop mode what temperate change alter? Does it offset the MAF reading so to keep the AFR correct? Is there setting that could be account for over corrective offset.?
