iOS6 for me too, I'm not upgrading my phone this year.

Have you tried iKaosillator? Or Figure from Reason. Excellent I thought. On the iPad VJay is ridiculous, not pro audio I know but being able to mix 2 video and 2 audio tracks using multitouch and a familiar interface blew me away.

VJay is fun, but you wouldn't use it in anger. The Korg apps are also fun, but you also wouldn't want to use in anger. I would rather use a real Kaosillator to do some effects. Especially as you can link the real thing for sync and get a proper analogue output, neither of which you can do on an iPad etc.

About the only good audio app, well I like it, is Overdub. Feels better on the iPad.

Cheers

Ian

I'll take a look at Overdub, hadn't heard of it. You can link iKaosillator, well we had a room full of iOS devices all synced, quite stunning really. Maybe it's some other linking? I know nothing too much about the subject.

Now on iOS6... Is that IT for the 5? There'd better be something more interesting in the iPhone 5 otherwise I dont see a huge improvement at all over the 4S.

2x Speed would be enough for a lot of people, look at how people on here **** their pants when a number goes up a point.

Nothing to change my decision to wait though.

But you know that the overall size of a product determines how it fits in the hand, not the aspect ration of the screen?

Correct. The latest batch of colossal phones do not fit in your hand. The iPhone fits in your hand.

Enjoy your sleep tonight Jack. I bet you are all 'made-up'!
I guess I'll have to get rid of my xbox now then? The iPhone 5 has 'console' graphics.

(Just don't tell anyone that they are based on the old NES! )

It's not over. Some of us less 'advanced/commited' gamers got rid of our Xboxes a long time ago. Ever tried Airplay Mirroring?

So, they have made it a bit bigger and a bit faster, makes it a more viable competitor for the Galaxy S3, tacit admission of the fact the old one was too small.
