Anyone got a portable table and chair (capable of supporting a rather large guy) that they can bring? Would be nice not to be stood up for 6 hours with a 4KG laptop

I've got a single PMR446 (walkie talkie) I'll bring with me, as I'll be located at the main entrance gate I can relay messages to anyone there.

Also, other half is printing us off a couple of hundred of the maps to hand out

I'm from Astra Owners Network. We have 15 members coming and all agreed to help marshall. I'd spoken to bustamoves a week or so ago about this. We have our own high vis jackets and had planned to get there about 12.15pm. Are we still needed?

I have 30maps printed that i can be added to the pile to hand out

Also i have had on charge a spare sealed gel battery that i will be picking up a cig lighter plug for later today that i will bring incase the checking in laptop(s) phones/radios start getting low on juice

Just in regards to people bringing laptops to check off so far its me and Foxdie - anyone else?

Oh and if anyone can bring fold up chairs for the people running the laptops that would be brilliant

I know its old fashioned but couldnt the lists be on paper to rule the laptop batteries issue out ?
Its only to check them in and make sure there isnt any repeats.

The problem is the list is changing so fast with amendments that we couldn't possibly print it off until about an hour before the show starts.

This way, we can update one place and we all have access to it. Marshals that want read access (write only for sam / gc8 / jamo / busta / toneh etc), please PM me

I do feel printing it off is a good idea but unfortunately I won't have a printer with me, and have a 2 1/2 hour car journey before. If someone wants to print the spreadsheet off an hour before the show as a fallback, that would be great

I will print it before i set off

As im not too hot with Google docs could it be accessible via smartphone as well - this way pretty much all the marshals can see the latest updates

Like i said i will have the beast of a battery with me incase we do need to charge things through the day

Yep should work on a smartphone although updating spreadsheet cells on a small device might be "fun"

Corky, should I keep updating the spreadsheet with reg numbers / car descriptions until, lets say, 10PM this evening?

Yep if you could please as it will help. Although I'm stopping lists and any adjustments or reserves to give you time to update registrations ready for printing etc.
Cheers.

Sam, could you print me a pass please? Will has done one for both me and James, but neither of us is able to print at the moment, embarrassingly.

Corky, me and James will be on-site at 10am. We're coming from the South, so the Corn Hole or whatevers its called isnt ideal.

I should have a couple of high vis jackets and a pair of pmr446 radios in the car I can loan if someone takes responsibility - the radio's will need charging but I'll put them on charge on the way over (have ciggy lighter charger for them).

A huge pat on the back for all of the marshalls, when I arrived everything looked spot on, no queueing and quickly sorted

A special mention to the one who saw my car and said "RS4, nice!"
