What's the two switches for on the console?
Starting to come together well there the black finish really is a huge improvement on oem.

It's very hard without breaking the retaining lugs Si,warm them up with a hot air gun to make them a bit more pliable

I'll have a little look but I don't want to start breaking bits, if a lug is broken off will it clip back in ok or not quite?

It will not hold in position then Si,you can glue the lugs back in place but it doesn't work so well lol

Maybe one to leave alone then, I will have a little look but if it's dodgy they will stay silver.

This has got to be the most worthwhile modification to carry out on a pre MY05 Impreza.
The choice of matt black I think was definitely the best for me, and I am glad that Ryan persuaded me to go with it rather than anything else - or did he give me no choice I can't remember now...

More like
I want some James Bond style gadgets though like missile launchers, oil slicks and an ejector seat.

I haven't seen it in the car yet but I have seen the panels after they had been painted and matt black for me is definitely the best choice.

I will make sure to try to get all 6 gears before I get out of Leominster, but I won't be calling the rozzers for obvious reasons.

I've cut a slot beneath the gaitor so it feel's like it's going into 6th but nothing will happen

I sourced it direct from Cobrasport Exhausts, the quality is really good and I was told by Cobra that it's a direct swap for a Milltek as they have supplied them before.
It was £252 including delivery, VAT and a new gasket but it would be cheaper if you opted for a 2.5" bore pipe size but only by £10.

Hope that helps.
