PSLewis is spot on.

Very few nice low mileage un molested classics left.

Agree re. the wagon thing though. You're more likely to find a nice unmolested wagon over a saloon, as the chavved up ones are more often than not saloons - erm, innit?

f@ck off tommy thats not true at all theres plenty of nice ones left have you not looked in the for sale section on this site or on pistonheads? there are plenty of chavved up new age scoobys too as there is with any make and model of car. i got my my 00 wrx sti with 60k on the clock full history and completely standard except exhaust i found that easily enough along with plenty more i could of looked at

not saying there are no nice classics about, there are some great ones on here but also plenty of laxarse lighted wrc graphics ones too, but the same does go for newages.

The problem being classics are so cheap now anyone can buy one, ruin it and run it into the ground, further tarnishing it's once fine name

The gradual decline, even on here in 6 years is there for people to see - but I'm keeping mine

I think that's the issue with the classic- cheap to buy initially but not so cheap to keep well maintained.
Thinking about it, probably the same with this RB5; service book was stamped up, up to a point, then nothing after about 60/70k.
The wagon sounds like an option.
