Southern England - Service And Repairs - Who To Use?
Who's the better company for servicing, repairs or upgrades, including customer service, price etc!
Triton or Veysport?
Who out there has had any experience of either or both of these companies, good or bad?
I'd be interested in reading any glowing reports or tales of woe!

I take it you are Poole / Bournemouth based?
Join DSOC.co.nr and see who the locals in the know use!! A guy called Wayne does all our servicing & repairs - WDM Autocentre - near the car auctions in Poole. Top prices and proper job done. Wayne worked for Queens Park cars servicing supercars before he set up on his own.

I used to use Triton but they screwed up replacing the power steering pump, it started leaking. I got it sorted by Parkstone Garage who recently did a service and my cam belts. They come across as much more knowledgeable.

I used triton once on a recommendation of a friend but they fitted a clutch that wasn't rated to the power of my car and failed to spot that my brakes were knackered after I asked them to look at them. I now go to veysport for servicing and repairs and they've been fine andys a sound bloke good customer service which makes a big difference to triton

Both Veysport and Triton have their haters and I have heard many horror stories about both of them.
I have never had a problem with Wayne at all.

If you haven't had any problems with any of them, you must have been happy with the first company you used.
So why then try the others?

He's a top notch mechanic (used to work on Ferrari's etc) who has owned several Scoobs with his last one being a 450bhp Classic Wagon. All the work undertaken by himself (except the mapping - RaceDynamix). Unfortunately the engine let go due to a faulty oil pump so it is currently being broken for parts and he has just picked himself up an R33 GTR Skyline.
He services / repairs most of the cars in Dorset Subaru Owners Club and has a very good reputation. As he works for himself with his own premises his rates are very reasonable compared to the larger companies mentioned.
His knowledge is 2nd to none and I only take my car to him - (I should be on comission!!)

Some are closer than others .. and it depends whether I can combine with where I am working at the time or what I am having done and the price the garage are charging for it. I admit I haven't used Triton for a while as I mainly use Len, Andy .. or Litchfields for that matter .. for work done on the car.
