This look cool, love to see the end result.

Will it be a Rep as in complete with graphics again? The graphics for me are a love hate thing, they look so dated and fugly when blathered on, but your first post looked right (correct combo) so it should be right done again on the wide arch.

What about the dash and all the other cosmetics?

Keep up the great work

Rob

Cutting a pulling the metal isn't really a true wrc kit is it lol ,,, granted its good work and looks nice but this kit is hand made from sheet steel and is a exact copy of tommy mack's wrc car and all the original bodywork has been done away with like a true wrc car not pulled about to make look wider ,,,,this kit from wrcspares is 15k unfitted but we hand made all the panels

That's kind of the problem when its being done for free you have to go on there time frames not your own lol ,, and the chap building it has had a lot of home issues to deal with so I'm happy to wait as long as it takes to get finished really as ill never sell it

Wow...

What a thread, good luck with the build dude. I love projects like this and as others have said can't wait to see the finished article. Sure you'll get days where you get demotivated by the time it's taking but it'll all be worth it bud

Have you got the straight through WRC exhaust? I might be able to help. Might be able to get other parts too from an ex WRC Subaru team based in Cyprus, but he comes to the Uk often.

Yes please do, the exhaust from memory were bought by the Abu Dhabi sponsors for his team, so they don't really owe him anything, but I would imagine he will want £ for them. They are too loud for public roads from memory

Last time I looked he has Brakes, Hubs, Coilovers etc. But his stock is fleeing quite quick with the Europeans buying from him. He also had/has brand new block halves and Spec C heads

Hey Dom!
I just looked through this thread for the first time, wow this looks better than I imagined! The shell is really taking shape, are you going to run it as a legal rally car with restrictors, sound limits etc or chuck a big power motor in? Is it at MB? I might have to pay them a visit, looks like they have some nice toys!

No mate its not going to be rallied but will be road legal lol ,,, current spec it runs 450bhp (2.1 stroker , RCM rotated kit, 6 speed ) but once its finished its having a wrc engine and a much bigger turbo and a few other go faster bits lol

Dave (chap building it) will build a car for us to use this year if we get time as he doesn't have one at the mo but is building a bugeye alongside mine for himself ,,, DM-Motorsport is his own company and he works from home but is currently moving premises again so everything is up in the air but if you need anything just let me know and ill pass on your number

you'll struggle to have anywhere near 450bhp with a rally legal air restrictor in place.........
