Andy that well out of kilter.........
I know that no-one was more gutted than Frayz that he couldn't complete but after he had been "messed around" (very polite) and parts weren't where they should be / work not completed / etc then he simply lost heart and had a half finished car that the guy supposedly doing the work had run away from.........

I always wondered what the story was behind the Frayz build. I remember reading that project thread and feeling so gutted for him that he couldn't complete it.
I see him posting on the Cliosport.net forum every now and then.

please keep this about my build not frayz please guys ,, regrettable that he couldn't complete it but like everything there will be two sides to that story and im not interested in either of them ,, luckily I was able to dig myself out of a similar whole that I was also left in aswell but again thats not a story im interested in telling as im about moving forward to dwelling on the unchangeable

dont think much will stop me completing this car in one form of another as I love it too much and done far to much in it to consider giving up

Alyn,

It wasn't meant nasty or disrespectfully at all as I know how upset Frayz was with the whole situation. Was only meant as a light-hearted comment, nothing else.

Andy

Glad to hear it mate. Your car will be spot on mate.

I can't remember who bought Frayz shell in the end but would love to see that car finished too. Frayz circumstances and life had changed too and can understand why these two cars have gone in different directions. Enough said on that.

Love this build.

I’m not ment to be doing car bits at the mo due to health reasons but trouble with addiction is you don’t have a choice lol
fitted a couple of the first parts of the puzzle and I’ll start running brake lines and fuel lines soon and work out some mounts for the WRC dash

I would like to thank MaXpeedingRods for sending me some of there stock to test on my build
to start things off they have sent my a GT35 turbo and some universal intercooler pipe work

the turbo looks great and has all the right bits in the right places and build quality looks good aswell , these are rated to around 600hp so should go Nicely with the plan

iv also been sent some universal intercooler pipe work , again the quality of the pipes look good with a nice wall thickness an decent clamps to keep it all in place so should help loads
I will do a short video once they have all been fitted to show fitment quality aswell

MaXpeedingRods are lots of new parts and expending there stock all the time so feel free to go an have a look on there website

Be interesting to see how their stuff performs. I declined their offer but I’m sure you’ll give it a good test for everyone to see
